[sane-devel] Epson 1240 U Photo for Medium Format scan

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to scan medium format (eg 6 cm x
6 cm) with an Epson 1240 U photo (with the additionnal device for
scanning slides or negatives).

the xsane frontend cannot scan larger than size of mounted slides (eg
around 4.8 cm x 4.7 cm). 

So my question is : is it possible to tune the plustek backend to scan
up to 6x6, or the scanner is physically (firmware ?) protected to scan
only 35mm slides ?
