Thanks for the suggestion. It seems, however, that my model is
explicitly unsupported: The page does not mention my scanner as
supported, but says the most recent version of the code is included with
sane since 1.0.13 and mustek_usb.conf shipped with 1.0.18 explicitly
mentions that id as unsupported. :-(
