Hi Andreas,

I am also a student, and interested in the same projects, a competition
start here :), I am just kidding pleased to meet you.

>> What benefit do you think does "Auto-detection of *"typeable"

the typeable
characters need to be detected, as the words >> and therefore the
characters, which are to be typed, seem to be hardcoded depending on the >>
language setting chosen. Are you thinking about generating random characters
(not real >>words as in the current game types) which are to be typed in
some additional game type?

My Opinion is when writing a specific theme for your language, you need to
configure a file called keyboard.lst that map the key to the key board and
determine this key in which row e.g
A|2
Q|1
Z|3
and this hint act as aid for the player like if you get A it is the second
row.

the aim of this idea is to make the game detects this directly.

>> The other ideas seem clear to me. I would like to work on _all_ the ideas
proposed for TuxType, >> because none of the ideas themselves seems adequate
for a 3-months-work.

I think I'm with you in this, but you also should consider testing, and code
cleanup in your time, also I think you could suggest more enhancement and
other projects.

I think about starting soc2008 discussion but I just want to confirm from
mentors if the mailing list is the suitable to discuss them or they prefer
IRC, myself i have some suggestion could i start it here.

Best regards,
asayed
