Yaird is not dead. Just maintained at a slow pace.

If you could perhaps have interest in helping out maintain yaird, then
please tell me. It doesn't require advanced skills to do!

Please check when filing bugs if it has been reported already. I
recommend using the commandline bugreporting tool "reportbug", which
guides you through the proces of filing your bugreport most properly.

Having said that, I do appreciate bugs being filed, better one time too
many than not at all - so if you were just lazy then there's no hard
feelings :-)
