Tried also in a sid box. I might have missed something in the testing
box, but I needed to downgrade some more packages in this sid box for
the problem to disappear,

# apt-get install --reinstall cups-core-drivers=1.7.5-11 libcups2=1.7.5-11 \
  libcupsimage2=1.7.5-11 cups-daemon=1.7.5-11 libcupsmime1=1.7.5-11 \
  cups=1.7.5-11 cups-client=1.7.5-11 cups-ppdc=1.7.5-11 \
  libcupscgi1=1.7.5-11 libcupsppdc1=1.7.5-11 cups-bsd=1.7.5-11

did it.
