Debian Edu uses inkscape, optipng and advpng to generate slim png file
from the svg file.
git://git.debian.org/git/debian-edu/debian-edu-artwork.git
esp. art-lines/ldm (Debian Edu uses an svg similar to the lines login
svg)

Debian Edu uses GPLv2.

See Debian Edu artwork/art-lines; a simple png showing 'LTSP Client
Login' is used.

See art-lines/ldm/greeter-gtkrc
