novice users (and we can also argue that probably such category should
not file bug reports but instead seek advices on debian-users ml or
other similar forums, due to low quality of theirs reports) should
check bugs on the bts before filing another one; so they could check
reportbug bugs list too.

'pending' means that its still valid.

it only shows that some users face this problem; several *lot* more don't.

checking the bts for reportbug and ding out this bug.

so you can try harder to debug.

you're the only one interested in it, and the fact you don't
understand what 'critical' severity means, gives less value to your
reply.

ah really?

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=620225#10
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=620225#70

better if you check next time.

Concluding, if you're really interested in providing help, then try to
pin-point the problem: i'd be more than happy to review patches, or
providing support; if instead you're only interested in complaining
that this would be my last reply to you.
