Which is a very understandable wish.

I agree.  If there are still FTBFS problems due to the switch from
cjk-latex (and I don't think *this* one has any connection with the
switch), I assume they will be detected by the QA efforts of Lucas and
others.  For new packages, it's the responsibility of the maintainers to
properly test their packages.  Just like any other Build-Dependency.
